Lindsey Black, CLD

My name is Lindsey Black. I am very blessed to be a doula and help families welcome their new blessing into the world. I have been happily married since 2011 and have 3 precious little girls. My husband and I are the associate youth pastors at our church and I have the pleasure of being an at home mom. With my first daughter I had a medicated birth. I went to the hospital with little information but the will to have a natural birth. Due to lack of information one intervention led to another and I ended up with a birth experience I had not desired. My other two daughters were natural labor and deliveries. After the birth of my first daughter did not go as planned I decided I wanted to help moms have the birth they envision themselves having. I have a big vision of helping families embrace the blessings they have been given. I desire to give information and encouragement to see families have an experience like no other.

I am currently in the process of obtaining my CLD certification through CAPPA. I attended a labor doula training in May 2015.I have had the opportunity to experience natural birth twice myself and assist others during their birth. These births helped me have a better understanding of how birth can vary.My passion for birth and babies drives me to continue to educate myself on things birth related. I hope to help empower women to accomplish their vision!
